Jirga on Saddam Lashari murder, police officers fined 2 crore 2 million rupees

Karachi: The Jirga imposed a fine of Rs 2 crore 20 lakh on the police officers for the murder of social activist Saddam Lashari.

According to the details, the police encounter in the illegal Jirga over the murder of social worker Saddam Lashari in Jacobabad city of Sindh proved to be fake, the Jirga fined the police officers.

2 SHOs, and 4 policemen have been fined Rs 2 crore 20 lakhs, the Jirga was held in the Sarpanchi of Lak Bejarani and Sardar Zulfiqar Sarki in Karachi.

Sources say that on the decision of the Jirga, the police officers have paid 10 lakh rupees immediately, while the involved police officers will pay 10 lakh rupees every month to the heirs of the deceased.

The Jirga said that Jacobabad Police had killed Saddam Lashari in an alleged encounter in Thal.
