Law Minister’s reaction to court order for PTI founder’s video link appearance

Federal Minister for Law Senator Azam Nazir Tarar has reacted to the court order to appear by the video link of founder Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).

In response to the question asked on the order of the Supreme Court, Azam Nazir Tarar said that he will respectfully submit to the court’s decision.

He further said that historically this has not happened, there are thousands of people convicted in this way.

On the question related to the live broadcast of the case, Azam Nazir Tarar replied that all this should be regulated by the courts.

It may be recalled that the Supreme Court has ordered the presentation of the founder PTI through video link on Thursday, May 16 in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) amendments case.

In the written order, the federal government and the Punjab government have been directed to ensure the presence of founder PTI through video link.

Justice Azhar Minullah said that the Attorney General should ensure that the video link works.
