Maryam Nawaz’s decision to take action for causing a loss of 4 billion to the treasury

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has decided to take legal action for causing a loss of 4 billion rupees to the exchequer in the previous period.

Maryam Nawaz expressed regret for not paying attention to the sector in the previous regime in a special meeting related to health reforms.

During the meeting, he expressed his indignation over the loss of 4 billion rupees to the national exchequer in Murree Hospital Project and announced legal action against those responsible.

He said that it is very painful and sad to obstruct the delivery of health facilities to the people during the previous regime.

Maryam Nawaz further said that it is our duty to protect people’s money, we cannot allow harm.

Chief Minister Punjab also said that he wants to build a state of the art health facility for the public in every district.

On this occasion, the proposal to establish medical college through public private partnership in Attock, Leh, Mianwali, Wahari, Bhakkar and Jhelum was reviewed.

During the meeting, Maryam Nawaz ordered the early completion of the 2500 BHU and 300 RHC upgrading project and directed immediate steps to establish a new hospital in Murree.

Chief Minister Punjab directed to provide angiography machine in Jhelum, Attock, Mianwali, Murree, Sahiwal, Sialkot.
