MQM’s decision to support Faisal Vavda

Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan has decided to support independent candidate Faisal Vawda in the Senate elections to be held on April 2.

According to ARY News, MQM Pakistan has taken final decisions after considering various options on the matter of submitting party ticket and withdrawing for the Senate elections to be held on April 2.

MQM’s ad hoc committee after long consultation decided to give ticket to Aamir Chishti for the general seat of Sindh for the Senate elections while Faisal Wada will be supported as an independent candidate.

According to the sources, MQM Pakistan can easily win one seat on the general seat in the Senate elections, while Faisal Vawda’s success as an independent candidate will require the votes of other parties along with MQM.

Aamir Chishti, MQM’s nominated candidate in the Senate, has valuable services in the field of education, finance and energy.
