Parties could not decide on specific seats for women in the Senate

The parties could not decide on the reserved seats for women for the Senate elections in Punjab.

The issue of women’s seats could not be resolved between the People’s Party and the Muslim League-N. PPP candidate Faiza Malik did not withdraw nomination papers.

Faiza Malik says that I submitted the nomination papers on Bilawal Bhutto’s order and Bilawal Bhutto did not give me any order to withdraw the papers.

There are 4 candidates for 2 Senate seats from Punjab. PML-N’s Anusha Rehman and Bashira Anjum Butt are candidates for Senate.

Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Sanam Javed is a candidate for the women’s seat.
