Preparing to introduce X’s Smart TV app

California: Social networking platform X is gearing up to launch an application for Smart TV users.

Linda Yacarino, chief executive officer of X, said in a tweet that the company will soon introduce content with a TV app for consumers’ smart TVs. In this way, users will be able to enjoy high quality entertainment on the big screen.

The company said an app for smart TVs will use trending video algorithms to keep users up-to-date with popular content and use artificial intelligence to organize videos by topic. Users will be able to cast to the big screen from a mobile device using the app.

Remember that Elon Musk bought X for $44 billion in 2022, since then the platform has undergone significant changes in content policies, branding and algorithms.
