Promotion and posting of 3 Major Generals of Pakistan Army to the rank of Lieutenant Generals
General Umar Bukhari Corps Commander Peshawar, General Inayat Chief of Logistics Services, General Ahmed Sharif appointed DG ISPR.
Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Asim Munir appointed three three-star generals who were promoted.
Lt. Gen. Umar Bukhari was posted as Commander XI Corps (Peshawar). Before him, Lieutenant General Hasan Azhar Hayat Khan was serving as Corps Commander Peshawar, who was transferred.
Lt Gen Inayat has been posted as Chief of Logistics Services GHQ while Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif has been retained as DG ISPR.
The Army Chief promoted the three major generals to the rank of lieutenant general yesterday.
