Second quarter ends, Japan’s lead maintained

The final of Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup 2024 is going on between the teams of Pakistan and Japan where Japan has a 0-1 lead over Pakistan.

Japan scored the first goal against Pakistan in the first quarter of the final match in Ippah, Malaysia.

Japanese player Tanaka Seren put the ball into the net in the 12th minute of the match to give his team the lead and it remained the same score until the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter saw a tight contest between the two teams where both teams tried to attack each other but failed to score.

The final of Azlan Shah Hockey Cup 2024 is being telecasted live by Pakistan’s first sports channel Geo Super.

The teams of Pakistan and Japan have reached the final while remaining unbeaten in the league matches.

The national team won 3 out of 5 matches while two were tied. On the other hand, the Japanese team won 4 matches out of the same number of matches, while their match against Pakistan was a draw.
