Senior officers went on leave after the junior was made IG Islamabad

3 senior DIGs of Islamabad have gone on leave due to the appointment of a junior officer as IG.

Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has been appointed as the new Chief of Police of the federal capital by replacing IG Islamabad, he was earlier posted as Grade 20 Syed Ali Nasir DIG Operations Lahore.

IG Islamabad Akbar Nasir Khan has promoted 14 inspectors, the inspectors have been promoted to the post of DSP.

The departmental promotion committee approved the promotion, after which IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir issued a notification.

Inspectors Muhammad Sharif, Asadullah Mangi, Ahmed Kamal Malik Dilawar Khan, Zawal Faqar Ali are also among those promoted.

Senior DIGs have taken leave on posting of junior officer as Inspector General. DIG Owais Malik, Hasan Raza and Shoaib Janbaz took leave from the government.

Sources say that a DIG has tried to get posted in the Railway Police.
