T20 World Cup; Can Pakistan, England miss warm-up matches?

The teams of Pakistan and England may miss the warm-up matches of the mega event scheduled in the West Indies and America due to the T20 series.

The two teams will face each other on May 22 before the ICCT20 World Cup, while the series will conclude on May 30.

Pakistan will officially start the tournament with a match against the host country, USA, which is scheduled on June 6, while the national team will compete against traditional rivals India on June 9, Canada on June 12 and the last group match against Ireland on June 16.

Similarly, the English team will start their T20 World Cup campaign with the West Indies where they will play against Scotland on June 4, Australia on June 8, Oman on June 14 and Namibia on June 15.

ICC has not yet announced the warm-up matches for the mega event, but sources say that the matches of the event, which will start from June 1, can be scheduled on May 25 and 26.

If the matches are scheduled on these dates by the International Cricket Council, the teams of Pakistan and England may miss playing warm-up matches.
