Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Advisor Muzamil Aslam has said that the eyes of the federal government are limited only to the big brothers.

While giving a press conference in Peshawar, Muzmal Aslam said that till now 10 billion rupees have been provided for health card, the budget was delayed due to political ups and downs.

The finance adviser said that objections were also raised on the passing of the caretaker government’s budget.

He said that the financial situation of the province has to be improved, the collection of FBR this year was very good. Health card, purchase of wheat, Ramadan package and other measures have been taken, steps are being taken to maintain better law and order situation.

Muzamil Aslam said that there is no compromise on providing relief to the people, if law and order is right in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, then the whole of Pakistan will be right.

The finance adviser said that the federal government is not cooperating in terms of arrears, funds have been released to the police for law and order, the budget of the province is not as complicated as that of the federal government.

Muzamil Aslam said that if FATA is merged, we should get funds for the merged districts, the biggest part of our expenses is salaries, our biggest problem is non-salary expenses.

He said that the caretaker government gave the interim budget twice, the federal government is not giving us money, despite all the problems, the total debt of KP is 600 billion rupees, we are doing development work by taking loans.

Muzamil Aslam said that the federal government does not touch the funds of Punjab and Sindh, unfortunately the federal government ignores the funds of KP.
