The former SP, the named suspect in the death of the accused under custody in Derakhshan police station, came to the fore

Former SP Nirul Haq, named as the main accused in the case of the death of an accused under police custody due to police violence in Karachi’s Derakhshan police station on April 15, came to the fore after 20 days.

The accused informed the Sindh Police after obtaining a 14-day security bond from the Islamabad High Court.

According to the documents, the accused obtained anticipatory bail on May 3, the court granted anticipatory bail till May 16.

The investigating police say that the former SP Clifton is accused of killing the accused under custody by torturing him, the accused has been directed to appear before the investigation south police soon and record his statement.

A murder case was registered against former SP Nirul Haq and his associates on April 16. The Karachi Police Chief’s investigation committee also found Nairul Haq directly involved in the murder.

Police say that since the case of murder was registered, former SP Nir ul Haq had fled, former SHO Derakhshan, Muharr and outpost in-charge have already been arrested in the case.
