Karachi: The Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali Karamullah is being celebrated today with devotion and respect across the country.

Funeral meetings will be held across the country and mourning processions will be held. In connection with the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali Karamullah Rabiyyah in Karachi, the Central Martyrdom Majlis of Hazrat Ali will be held at Nishtar Park on Wednesday 21st of Ramadan at 12 am organized by Zameerul Hassan Trust.

In which Allama Rehan Haider Rizvi will address the Majlis after the prayer and salutation, after the Majlis the procession of knowledge, coffin and Zul-Janah will be brought out. The procession will be led by Butrab Scouts, the participants of the procession will reach the Exhibition Chowrangi from Mahfil Shah Khorasan.

Zahrin prayer should be organized at 02:00 PM on MA Jinnah Road opposite Bindu Khan Hotel under the leadership of Maulana Muhammad Hussain Raisi. After the noon prayer, a protest demonstration will be held by the Imamia Students Organization to show solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian Muslims.

After the demonstration, the procession will take its traditional route through MA Jinnah Road, C Breeze, Sadar Dawakhana Mansfield Street, Regal Chowk, Priddy Street, MA Jinnah Road, Bolton Market, Bhatti Bazar, Kharadar, Nawab Mohabbate Khanji Road and Hussainiya Iraniyan Imam. Bargah will end at Kharadar.

Fool-proof security arrangements have been made across Karachi for the Yom Ali procession. A large number of people will be on duty for the security of the main procession of Hazrat Ali on Martyrdom Day in Karachi.

A complete sweeping of the passageways will be done by the bomb disposal squad before the procession is taken out. After the procession is recovered, CCTV cameras and aerial surveillance will also be carried out, while expert snipers of security agencies will be deployed on high-rise buildings. The procession route and adjacent markets and streets have been sealed.
