Beijing: China’s foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian criticized the Modi government and said that Arunachal Pradesh has always been a part of China, which India has illegally occupied.
According to the world news agency, Lin Jian, spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said in a press briefing that India occupied our region of Zingnan in 1987 and named it as Arunachal Pradesh.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian further said that Zingnan has been managed by China for years. Talks of accepting this disputed border division are baseless.
Spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that they have been strongly protesting India’s illegal actions and actions in the border area.
It should be remembered that like Arunachal Pradesh, China also considers Ladakh as its part and protested against the division of occupied Kashmir into Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh under the Modi government’s black law.
China had taken the stand that the Modi government has violated international law by recognizing Ladakh as a federal unit as Ladakh is a disputed territory between China and India.
Since then, there have been several clashes between Chinese and Indian soldiers on the border of Ladakh, in which many soldiers from both sides were killed and injured.
