The revelation that Lahore Police’s wireless sets were inoperable revealed great corruption and negligence

LAHORE (Crime Reporter) The wireless sets of Lahore Police have become inoperable, the senior police officers instead of buying new sets in the cycle of commission changed the spare parts of the old sets and made new ones. On the other hand, the citizens are at the mercy of bandits and robbers for not getting timely help from the police.

According to the sources, due to the malfunctioning of the wireless sets of the Lahore Police, there is a problem in transferring the calls made on one-five of any incident in the city to the police stations and it has become impossible for the officials of the police stations to communicate with each other on one-five calls.

The sources further say that more than 80% of the wireless sets do not pick up the antenna signals and the calls are not reaching the concerned police station as the buttons are damaged.
