Those going to court against KMC taxes are mafia, Murtaza Wahab

Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab termed those who went to court against Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) taxes as mafia.

Speaking to the media outside the Sindh High Court, Murtaza Wahab said that whenever we want to collect any revenue, the mafia files a case.

He complained that the KMC does not get a single rupee of revenue from the signboards on the roads of Karachi.

Mayor Karachi further said that the signboards are illegally installed on the roads of Karachi without the permission of the MC. The question of the sign board on the buildings should be asked from the respective towns.
