Lahore: PDMA Punjab has issued an alert for heat wave, rains and storm this week.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, there is a possibility of 3 to 5 degree increase in day temperature in Punjab from May 8 to 10. Dusty winds will prevail in most of the districts of Punjab and thundershowers may occur.
On May 10 and 11, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the districts of South Punjab. District administrations across Punjab have been informed about the weather situation.
DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia said that standing crops are feared to be damaged by the storm. The public will also have to be careful with the increase in heat and cold intensity. Arrange to avoid work loos in the afternoon.
