Health experts have a very strange idea about the full moon.

It may be impossible for many people to believe this, but health experts believe that as soon as the full moon shines in the sky, the number of patients in hospitals starts to increase.

Speaking to the US media, Dr John Beecher of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine said that ‘as soon as the full moon is visible, everyone is talking about it’.

He said that “I have heard the staff in the hospital talking many times at 7 pm that everyone should get ready now because the full moon has appeared and now the number of patients in the emergency ward of the hospital may increase.” .

John Beecher said that for many years, after the sighting of the full moon, I myself have been seeing an increase in the number of patients in the hospital with chronic, emotional and psychological problems.

Citing a study conducted by health experts regarding these views, the report also states that the various movements of the moon affect the behavior of 40 percent of health workers.

In this regard, Dr. Frederick Kip Wenger, former chairman of emergency medicine at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, also agreed with some of the events related to the full moon and recounted an unusual incident that happened to a friend of his.

He added that even though I have seen some such unusual occurrences during the full moon, still I do not believe in such strange ideas.

The report also cited a study by AIMS Public Health whose findings could not ignore the views of doctors based on experience of unusual events related to the full moon.
