Acid attack on Shahzad Akbar could not be proved in Britain, police investigation closed

In Britain, the police closed the investigation after the incident of throwing acid on Shahzad Akbar was not proved.

According to Express News, the acid attack on Shehzad Akbar, the former advisor of the founder chairman PTI Imran Khan, could not be proved in the UK, due to which the police has stopped the investigation.

An acid attack on himself was claimed by Shahzad Akbar, after which the British police started an investigation, but so far no evidence has come out in this regard. During the 6 mall investigation, the British police checked the cameras around Shahzad Akbar’s residence and despite watching several hours of footage, no attack could be proven.

According to the police, no suspect was seen in the CCTV footage and there was no indication that anyone had gone towards Shahzad Akbar’s house. Sources say that the British police informed Shahzad Akbar about this three weeks ago, after which Shahzad Akbar blamed the attack on the Pakistani government and the ISI.

The police has closed the investigation in this regard after the claims of Shahzad Akbar’s acid attack were not proved.
