Another Indian-origin man has been arrested in connection with the largest film-style heist of gold and currency in Canadian history at Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

According to foreign media reports, a container of pure gold worth 20 million dollars and foreign currency worth 2.5 million dollars arrived in Toronto from a flight from Zurich last year and was loaded onto a truck and stolen from the cargo holding inside the airport.

A 36-year-old Indian-Canadian man named Archit Grover has been arrested for his involvement in the historic film-style robbery.

The police say that they have arrested Archit Grover at the Toronto airport and charged him, while earlier they had issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for his arrest.

According to foreign media reports, the police say that Archit Grover is accused of stealing 5,000 Canadian dollars and will be charged in the United States for his involvement in the firearms case.

It should be noted that earlier in the history of Canada, Indians and Pakistanis were involved in the biggest theft of gold and currency in Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

Canadian and American police jointly investigated this historic incident and several arrests were made.

According to local police in Toronto, the suspects include a former and current employee of an airline, one of whom is now in custody, while an arrest warrant has been issued for the other.

According to him, the accused include Prampal Sidhu, Simranpreet, King Michelin, Prasad Pramalingam, Amit Jalota, Imad Chaudhry, Ali Raza, Archit Grover and Arsalan Chaudhry. Apart from this, it also includes those who buy stolen gold.

It should be noted that last month, 54-year-old Parampal Sidhu, 40-year-old Amit Jalota, 43-year-old Imad Chaudhary, 37-year-old Ali Raza, 35-year-old Prasad Paramalingam were arrested.
