Businessmen’s suggestion to Prime Minister to talk to Imran Khan
Karachi: The businessmen in Karachi suggested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to talk to PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
According to Express News, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on a visit where he visited Mazar-e-Quaid, held a meeting with the Sindh government and later addressed the business community of Karachi.
In the meeting with the businessmen, the businessmen suggested that they talk to Imran Khan. The businessmen also suggested to the Prime Minister to improve relations with other neighboring countries including India.
Arif Habib Group head Arif Habib said that you have joined hands with other parties including People’s Party, I want you to join hands more, one hand with neighboring countries including India and one hand with the residents of Adiala Jail. Raise the stock market, but also reduce the price of electricity.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that we need the business community, you guys should come, make sure that export is to be doubled in five years, Pakistan is lagging behind in the race of development, it has to be brought forward, they are emphasizing on the end of smuggling. He said that some institutions are being privatized, I assure you that the privatization will be transparent, the government’s job is not to run the industry, it is to make policy. The business community is the backbone of the country’s economy, good policies will be made with the advice of businessmen.
He said that we are not interested in anyone’s government in a province, we have to overcome personal preference and come together to face the challenges, we cannot blame anyone, we have to look into our own necks.
