Lahore: PSL will be made more competitive as various proposals to increase the competitive atmosphere have been considered.
Pakistan Super League is known for its competitive and thorny matches and hence it is considered as one of the best T20 leagues in the world, now it has been decided to make it more competitive. There were suggestions to increase.

In the Governing Council meeting to plan the 10th edition, proposals to change the playing conditions were considered, one of them being that at the time of the toss, both teams should provide 2 sheets of the playing XI instead of one. After having the option to pick one of them, this move will give the team that lost the toss an opportunity to field with a better XI according to the conditions.
According to sources, consideration has also been given to adopting the power surge policy introduced in the Big Bash League, under which teams will be able to take powerplays in any 2 overs from the 11th to the 20th over, the initial power play will be 4 overs instead of 6.
