China requested the US not to interfere in its internal affairs

US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken has met the Chinese Foreign Minister during his visit to China.

The Chinese foreign minister says that China-US relations have stabilized but negative factors are emerging, the basic interests of China-US relations are facing challenges.

He said that China’s legitimate development rights were unreasonably suppressed, conflict with the US would be a harmful situation, and requested the US not to interfere in internal affairs.

The Chinese foreign minister said that the red lines of China’s sovereignty, security and development interests should not be stepped on.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said that he had extensive and constructive discussions with the Chinese Foreign Minister, there is no substitute for face-to-face diplomacy.

He said that we need to avoid misunderstandings, hopefully US and China can make progress on military relations and AI agreements.

On the other hand, in this regard, the US Department of State has said that concern was expressed over China’s support for Russia’s defense industrial base, and the importance of maintaining peace in the Taiwan Strait was also discussed.

The spokesperson of the US State Department has said that the importance of China’s activities in the disputed South China Sea was discussed.

The spokesman says that the meeting emphasized avoiding tension in the Middle East and the Korean Peninsula. The US Secretary of State will meet with President Xi Jinping today.
