Death is considered as the end of life. !

“And before them is a veil (barrier) until the Day (on which) they will be raised (from the graves).”

There is a veil, i.e. Barzakh, Barzakh means limit and barrier between two things.

After death, the time until resurrection is called Alam Barzakh. Which scholar is the world of Barzakh? And where is it? Is Barzakh for everyone or for a particular group? Every human mind is curious about these things.

There are three stages of life:

worldly life Hayat-i Barzakhi. Afterlife

The style of worldly life is different, it has its own accessories, then there is Hayat-e-Barzakhi, its style and matter is different, then there is Hayat-e-Akhravi, it has its own accessories and rules.

Scholars say that after a person dies, he is related to another world, which is known as the world of barzakh and the world of the grave. Now what happens to him is not in the worldly world, but in this other world, the practical life that is lived in the world, according to this is the life of the world of Barzakh Allah, there is punishment and reward, the Prophet ﷺ said. He said, meaning:

”No doubt! The grave is one of the gardens of Paradise or one of the pits of Hell.” (Sunan Tirmidhi)

This second world has been hidden from ordinary people by Allah Almighty with His great wisdom, it is not observed in this world in general, the dead person is in front of us and there is a matter of punishment or relief on him, but his However, since this matter belongs to the world of barzakh, we do not feel it.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that two old Jewish women of Medina came to my house and said: The people of the grave are punished in their graves. I did not say yes to both of them, they left and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to me, so I said to him: O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Two old women from the Jewish women of Madinah came to me, they believed that the people of the grave are punished in their graves He said: “They both spoke the truth. They have such a punishment that all cattle hear it.” After that, I saw that he used to seek refuge from the punishment of the grave in every prayer. (Bukhari and Muslim)

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas narrates that the Prophet ﷺ passed over two graves. So the Prophet ﷺ said that those people of the grave are being punished and they are not being punished for something that was a big thing for them to avoid, but because one of them did not take the precaution of urinating and There is a hadith of Muslim that he did not keep himself away from splashes of urine. And what did the other Chaglakhor Yi do? Then he ﷺ took a palm branch and divided it into two parts in the middle. Then he buried them in both graves. The companions said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Why did you do that? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allah will reduce their punishment until these branches dry up.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

In the world of Barzakh, the good Muslim deceased not only get the news of the death of their relatives, but also meet them. This is explained by the above hadith, on the authority of Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Meaning: When the soul of a believer is seized, then the deceased servant of God (who had previously passed away) Going beyond that, they meet in the same way as they meet someone who brings good news to the world, then (some of them) say: Just give him time to catch his breath, because this (in the world) I was in great agony, after that I started asking him what is the condition of such and such a person. Has he married? Then if they ask the status of a person who has died before that person, and he says that he has died before me, then they recite “InAllah wana iliya rajiyun” and say that only he He has been taken to his abode, Hell, which is a bad place to go to, and a bad place to stay.

The Prophet ﷺ said that your deeds are presented in front of your relatives and family members who are in the Hereafter (Alam Barzakh). Allah! You have grace and mercy, so fulfill this blessing of Yours on him, and give him death on that, and the action of a sinful person also appears on them, so they say: O Allah! Put goodness in his heart, which will be the cause of your pleasure and closeness. (Tabrani)

Regarding the martyrs, this has been informed by making two different orders in ‘Surah Al-Baqarah’ and ‘Al-Imran’.

And those who are killed in the way of God, do not call them dead, but they are alive! You don’t know.”

“And those who are killed in the way of Allah, do not think of them as dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving sustenance.”

That is, it was said in Surah Al-Baqarah not to call them dead and in Aal Imran it was said not to think of them as dead, but rather that they are alive and receive sustenance from the presence of their Lord.

Allah, the Exalted, said more about these martyrs, meaning:

“They are happy in what Allah has given them out of His grace and they are celebrating the happiness of their predecessors who have not yet met them, so that they have no fear and no sorrow” (Al-Imran).

In other words, the martyrs celebrate the reward given by Allah Almighty in their graves, “neither fear nor sorrow”, because Allah Almighty never wastes the reward of the believers.

It is in the tradition of Hazrat Abu Huraira that when Munkar Nakir asked this deceased: “So what did he say about this great person (the Prophet)? He says: “He is the servant of Allah and His Messenger. I bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah and indeed, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the (special) servant and messenger of Allah.” Then light is given to him, then he is told to go to sleep, and he says, “Go back and tell my family.” Like a swelling which is carried by the most beloved person in the family.” (Sunan Tirmidhi)

When a believer goes to his grave, he does not face punishment there, but the night of the grave is Shab-e-Aros for him. This is the reason why for those who are righteous servants of Allah, death is a means of nearness to Allah.

Death is thought to be the end of life

This is the evening of life, the dawn of life
