Riyadh: Air taxis and drones will be used during the Hajj season this year.
Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics Service Saleh Al-Jasser said in a conversation with Arab media that air taxis and drones will be used in Hajj 2024 using modern technologies. The aim of this initiative is to provide the best travel facilities to the pilgrims. The facilities provided will be further improved.
He further said that the transport and logistics sector is very important during Hajj season. In order to organize the transportation of Hajj pilgrims, under the comprehensive program compiled, practical measures have to be taken in time so that the pilgrims do not face any kind of problem. The Ministry of Transport works in collaboration with other organizations for logistical support in Hajj affairs with the main objective of providing all possible convenience to the Hajj pilgrims.
