Earthquake shocks in Karachi
Earthquake tremors were felt in different areas of Karachi, causing panic among the citizens.
According to the seismological center, tremors of the earthquake were felt in Malir, Landhi, Quaidabad, Kathor and Gadap, the magnitude of which was 3.2 and the depth was 12 km. The tremors were felt at 8:50 am.
Earlier on October 16 last year, earthquake tremors were felt in different areas of Karachi and its magnitude was recorded as 3.1.
Tremors were felt in Malir, Quaidabad, Shah Latif Town, Buffalo Colony, Sherpao Colony. Earthquake also occurred in Landhi, Muzaffarabad Colony, Muslimabad Colony, Gulshan Hadid, Steel Town and surrounding areas.
The depth of the earthquake was recorded at 15 km.
