Quetta: Berlin Buddy Beer moved to an alternative location due to fear of theft

Quetta: Berlin Quetta The Berlin Buddy Bear statue, a symbol of friendship, has been temporarily moved to an alternative location due to fears of theft.

The Berlin Buddy Bear statue installed at the Berlin Quetta Friendship Square was installed in a very secure area in terms of security.

Police sources say that after the theft of the iron security bars, Berlin Bhaloo was shifted to a safe place.

A case has been filed against unknown persons for the theft of Berlin Buddy Bear’s security bars.

The Buddy Bear statue gifted to Pakistan by the German government is a symbol of the culture of Germany and Pakistan.

After the installation of this statue, the former GPO Chowk of Quetta was renamed Berlin Quetta Friendship Square.

The said square in Quetta was inaugurated by Consul General of Germany Dr. Rudiger Lutz in August last year.
