Lahore: Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema has said in a letter to the governor of Punjab on the issue of Achison College fee waiver that the fees of my children should not be waived, I do not want to benefit from this facility for my children.

Ahad Cheema in a letter written to Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman said that I am writing this letter regarding the issue of leave of my children studying in Aitchison College. do not want to take advantage of this facility.

He further wrote that I would strongly request you to please not withdraw the new policy under any negative pressure, as this policy will be very helpful for the students and their parents in the future. The Federal Minister said that the recent order in this matter, issued by his office under the Act governing Aitchison College, has given rise to a strange and senseless controversy, which has been raised by a principal. Those who have already resigned and are leaving have been initiated.

He said that the principal’s brazen and loud denial of the policy decisions of the board and the chairman was not heard.

According to Ahad Cheema, my family has faced ridicule, scorn and insult campaign in this episode only because of my public office, otherwise, logically, the student body in the college and their parents are one. Create communities whose real needs and constraints must be respected and responded to by the board and management.

The Federal Minister said that the earlier decision of the Board of Directors and your final order is a step in the right direction in this matter.
