A video of captain Babar Azam and fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi hugging each other during the rain-affected match between Pakistan and New Zealand went viral on social media.
The first T20 match scheduled in Rawalpindi was rained out, where only two balls could be played.
There are reports of tension between Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi, but a few moments before the start of the match, a video of the two cricketers hugging each other went viral.

Earlier, before the first T20 match against the Kiwis, captain Babar Azam had said in a press conference that he was surprised to hear the news of Shaheen Afridi and me’s conflict, we have a very good relationship with each other.

Babar said that the goal of Shaheen and me is to play for Pakistan and win matches, that is our priority.
It should be noted that the second T20 match of the series will be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on April 20.
