Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Modi passed away

Sushil Modi, the former Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of Bihar, passed away at the age of 72 after a long illness.

According to foreign media reports, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader suffering from cancer was undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Delhi for the past one month.

According to media reports, due to illness, Sushil Modi was not even participating in the party campaign for this year’s elections.

His last rites will be performed today at his residence in Rajendranagar.

It should be noted that on April 3 of last month, he informed about his health by releasing a message on social media that he has been suffering from cancer for the past 6 months.
