Imran Khan approved the name of Waqas Akram for Chairman PAC
Islamabad: The name of Sheikh Waqas Akram for the Chairman PAC has been finalized by PTI.
According to Express News, the name of Sher Afzal Marwat was earlier given for the chairman of PAC, but after the party leaders refused, founder chairman Imran Khan approved the name of Sheikh Waqas Akram.

Today, PTI leader Rauf Hassan confirmed the name of Sheikh Waqas Akram in an informal conversation with journalists and said that our chairman PAC candidate is Sheikh Waqas Akram.
It should be remembered that the founder PTI Imran Khan had earlier nominated Shira Fazl Marwat as the Chairman Public Accounts Committee. However, when serious differences emerged in the party over his name, the founder PTI nominated Hamid Raza, the head of the Sunni Ittehad Council, as the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, but he was also out of the race and Waqas Akram was nominated after him. which was approved by Imran Khan.
