Increase in crime rate and efficiency of institutions?

Crime rate is increasing every year in Pakistan. During 2022, the crime rate in Punjab increased by 30%, 718 thousand cases were registered in 2022 and 1 million 33 thousand cases in 2023. The crime rate across the country is increasing with every passing year.

Millions of cases are registered every year. Incidents of stealing motorcycles and mobile phones are happening very often. People in the streets are afraid that if they take out their mobile phone, someone will take it away. The number of such incidents is also increasing due to which people’s lives have become impossible. The number of cases reported so far in 2024 also shows that the rate is higher than in previous years, although the full year report will be released at the end of the year.

Thus, instead of correcting this system, it is getting worse, which the people are having to suffer.

The morality of the society has been destroyed. People are not happy. Instead of fixing the system, the rulers give few packages to the people and spend their whole time on it. No one cares about the correctness of the system. The crime rate is continuously increasing but the institutions are being neglected. The rulers should pay special attention to this problem and improve this system and take strict action against negligent officers and officials.
