Indian airline accused of forcing diabetics to eat sweet food

Indian airline IndiGo has been accused by a passenger of forcing diabetic patients to eat sugary food during flight delays.

According to the report of Indian media ‘NDTV’, a female passenger named Swati Singh has accused the airline through her X account of forcing diabetic passengers to eat sweets while waiting for the flight delay. It was done which caused the diabetic patients to suffer more.

The female passenger said that instead of easing the suffering of diabetic patients, the airline kept them suffering by feeding them sweet food.

Swati Singh also shared the response received from the airline on social media.

He said that when he complained to the airline management, he got a reply from the flight manager that ‘I have no option, what is the Indian Ministry of Aviation doing?’

The female passenger further wrote that passengers arriving at the airport at 3 pm were not even asked for a glass of water till 9:40 pm and later served poor quality food to further add to the suffering.
