Indian stand-up comedian Manoor Farooqui arrested during raid on ‘Huqa Bar’

Mumbai: Renowned Indian stand-up comedian and reality show Bigg Boss season 17 winner Munoor Farooqui was arrested during a raid at a ‘huqa bar’.
According to Indian media, on the night of March 26, at around 10:30 p.m., the police raided a Huqq bar in Mumbai.
The report stated that when the police raided, Indian stand-up comedian Manoor Farooqui was also present in the same bar, during which the police detained 14 people.
Among the 14 people detained by the police was Manwar Farooqui, who was released after being detained for a few hours.

While talking to the media, the police said that the Huqq bar was being run illegally, the police registered a case against Manwar Farooqui and other detainees under the provisions of the Smoking and Other Tobacco Products Act, while the police are yet to go. The incident is being investigated.
According to the police, Manoor Farooqui was drinking Huqah during the raid, the videos of the comedian drinking Huqah are also with the police as evidence.
