Indian web series ‘Hira Mundi’ sets record on Netflix

Mumbai: Famous Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new web series ‘Hira Mundi’ has set a record on Netflix.
The web series that premiered on Netflix on May 1 became the highest-grossing Indian web series in its first week.
Filmed in the pre-partition setting of the subcontinent, the web series has been watched by five million people and is trending in the top ten in 43 countries around the world.
The number one Indian program is ‘The Great Indian Couple Show’ which got more than 2 crore views in its first week.
‘Heera Mandi’ stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao, Richa Chadha, Sharmaine Sehgal, and Sanjedya Sheikh.
