Karachi: Three robbers snatched a bike from a policeman and escaped, the fourth was arrested with injuries

Karachi: In Liaquatabad, four armed suspects snatched the motorcycle of a police officer at gunpoint.

According to Express, on Wednesday morning, near Liaquatabad B Area Mana Jigar Nihari Wale, four armed accused on motorcycles took away the motorcycle from ASI Iqbal posted at RRF Korangi at gunpoint.

The armed accused also tried to snatch his pistol from the police officer, but the police officer resisted. Meanwhile, the police officer had a hand-to-hand fight with an accused and the officials caught one of the accused, while three armed accused snatched the motorcycle of the police officer and escaped.

The police officers opened fire on the accused with their weapons, as a result of which the accused was injured by a bullet on his back, who was immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

SHO Liaquatabad Humayun Khan said that the injured suspect was identified as 30-year-old Imran son of Mir Baksh.

He said that police officer ASI Iqbal was going to duty from home in plain clothes early in the morning and was about to turn towards Tin Hatti from Liaquatabad B area when 4 accused on motorcycles stopped him at gunpoint. And took away his bike.

The police officer opened fire and injured one of the accused when he resisted, while his colleagues snatched the motorcycle of the police officer and escaped. The police are investigating the incident further.
