An increase in the price of electricity by two rupees 83 paise per unit
Islamabad: The price of electricity has been increased by two rupees 83 paise per unit.
According to the notification issued by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), this increase in electricity prices has been done in the context of monthly fuel adjustment, which will be applied in the month of March.
According to the notification, the increase in electricity prices will be applied to the electricity bills of the current month, this increase will not be applicable to Lifeline customers, K-electric customers and electric vehicle charging stations.
It should be noted that the increase in electricity prices will burden the consumers by 26 billion rupees.
