Pakistan’s Dairy Sector Faces Constant Challenges, Experts

Lahore: Pakistan’s dairy sector continues to face challenges, despite being the world’s fourth in milk production, a major sub-sector of agriculture, contributing 60 percent to value-added agriculture with live stock and 11.7 percent to GDP.

This challenge is a hindrance to its best potential. Pakistan’s dairy and beef industry has limited performance to meet the milk and meat needs of its 24 crore population, much effort is needed to improve the sector to bring it in line with international standards. Required.

On this occasion, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Hanni Fokel de Vries, said in his address that 50 Dutch companies are working in Pakistan in agriculture, dairy sector and other sectors.
