People’s Party awarded the Senate ticket to Talha Mehmood from JUI

Islamabad: The PPP nominated Talha Mehmood, who left JUI and joined the PPP, as the Senate candidate.
A meeting regarding the Senate elections was held under the chairmanship of PPP central leader Faryal Talpur, in which the members of the committee formed by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa participated.
Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Ali Bacha, Shazi Khan and Faisal Karim Kandi participated in the meeting.
On the instructions of the party leadership, Fida Muhammad Khan and Qaizar Khan Miyankhil withdrew from the Senate elections for the sake of the party’s interest.
Fida Muhammad Khan was the candidate for the general seat and Qeizar Khan Mian Khel was the candidate for the technocrat seat. According to the party decision, Talha Mehmood will be the candidate for the general seat and Rubina Khalid for the female seat.
