No backdoor negotiations are going on with India, Foreign Office Spokesperson

Islamabad: Spokesperson of the Foreign Office says that there are no backdoor negotiations with India, there has been no change in the trade policy with India.

According to details, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, while giving a media briefing, made it clear regarding India-Pakistan relations that no backdoor negotiations are going on with India, no private individual has been entrusted with the responsibility of normalizing relations with India.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that there is currently no information about normalizing trade relations with India, there has been no change in Pakistan’s trade policy with India.

Regarding Pak-Afghan relations, the spokesman said that Pakistan and Afghanistan have long-standing relations, there are channels of communication between the two countries, we have said at the multilateral forum that Afghanistan should fulfill its obligations under the Doha Agreement.

He said that he cannot say anything about the Prime Minister’s visit to China, but will release the details when the time comes.
