English Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that Ben Stokes will not play T20 World Cup 2024.
The English board says that cricketer Ben Stokes is not interested in selection in the T20 World Cup squad and his first goal is to be fully fit for bowling.
ECB says that Ben Stokes not only wants to be fully fit for the Test series against Sri Lanka and West Indies, so he is avoiding playing the mega event.

Ben Stokes said about not playing the T20 World Cup that he is trying to get fit for bowling so that he can make a place in the team as an all-rounder in the future.
“Sacrificing IPL and World Cup will help me to play as an all-rounder in future,” he said, “I wish the captain, coach and all the team the best.”
