Peshawar: The government has taken an important step to eradicate terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it has been decided to increase the capacity of CTD.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the CTD headquarters in Peshawar on Thursday, where he inspected the data center, crime scene unit, CIA unit and other departments. Necta Rai Tahir, IGP Akhtar Hayat Gandapur also attended, and Additional IG Shaukat Abbas briefed on the agency’s performance and IGP’s counter-terrorist operations.

In the meeting, it was decided to increase the efficiency of CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that CTD KP will be given access to necessary data, the province is on the front foot in the fight against terrorism. .

He said that the cyber cell will be expanded and will provide all possible support in this regard, an effective mechanism of data sharing will also be made.
