The plan to bring additional water from Hub Kanal in Karachi has been approved, Murtaza Wahab

Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that the plan to bring additional water from Hub Kanal in Karachi has been approved.

During the press conference at the office of Water Corporation, Murtaza Wahab said that they are giving good news to the people of Karachi today, they have approved to bring additional water from Hub Kanal in Karachi.

He said that the canal bringing water from Hub Kanal has become dilapidated, we are building a new canal from Hub Kanal.

Murtaza Wahab further said that the project will provide additional 100 mgd of water to the people of Karachi while there is already a canal of 100 mgd.

He said that 12 billion to 200 million gallons of water will be built as a hub canal, 200 million gallons of water project will be ready in 12 months.

Mayor Karachi also said that tomorrow morning the board’s letter will reach the Sindh Chief Minister, WAPDA has been talked to and now this problem is going to be solved.

He said that the people of Kemari, municipality in District West will get water from this, since the federal government is working to bring water from Kenjhar.

Murtaza Wahab added that a 77 billion project has been sent to ECNIC, along with the new pipeline, the roads will also be repaired, they are working to bring water to the homes of the people of Karachi.
