Temperatures are expected to rise this week and rain is expected at the end of the week. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may increase by 3 to 5 degrees from May 8 to 10 in most areas.

The National Disaster Management Authority says in this regard that people should take precautionary measures and not travel unnecessarily to avoid heat wave.

The NDMA further said that cattle owners should take safety measures for their livestock in extreme heat.

According to the NDMA, there is a possibility of rain with wind, squalls and thunderstorms in different areas from May 10.

NDMA said farmers should make their routines according to weather conditions.
