The US warned those who entered into trade agreements with Iran

The US has been a leading investor in Pakistan for the past 20 years, a spokesperson for the US State Department said

Washington: A statement issued by the US State Department said that any country should be aware of the potential threat of sanctions when entering into a trade agreement with Iran.

The Nation According to the statement of the spokesperson of the US Department of State, without naming Pakistan, it is said that we advise any country or person considering trade agreements with Iran to be aware of the possible threat of US sanctions.

The statement added that we have been a leading investor in Pakistan for the past 20 years. Pakistan’s economic success is also in America’s interest, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Pakistan.

It should be noted that this statement has come out at a time when Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi has arrived in Pakistan on a three-day official visit, during which millions of dollars worth of deals are likely to be signed.

In a joint press conference, Iranian President and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed agreement to increase Pakistan-Iran trade volume to 10 billion dollars and signed 8 agreements in various fields including trade, science technology, agriculture, health, culture and judicial matters.
