By-elections: Notification of successful candidates released, new party position revealed

Islamabad: The Election Commission issued the notification of the successful candidates in the by-elections and also informed the National Assembly about the new party position.

According to Express News, notifications of successful candidates from 10 constituencies of Punjab Assembly were issued. Notification of victory of PML-N Ali Pervez Malik from NA-119 Lahore, Rashid Ahmed of PML-N from NA-132 Kasur and Faisal Amin Khan of Sunni Unity Council from NA-44 Dera Ismail Khan has been issued.

Similarly, Dawood Shah of Sunni Unity Council from PK 91 Kohat, PP 36 PML-N candidate Adnan Afzal Chatha from Wazir Abad II, PP 54 PML-N candidate Ahmed Iqbal Chaudhry from Narowal 1, PP 93 Saeed Akbar Khan of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz from Bhakkar Five, Rana Afzal Hussain of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz from PP 139 Sheikhupura Four, Muhammad Riaz of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz from PP 147 Lahore 3 while Isthakam Pakistan Party from PP 149 Lahore Five. Muhammad Shoaib Siddiqui succeeded.

Similarly, Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz won from PP 158 Lahore and Rashid Minhas of Pakistan Muslim League-N from PP 164 Lahore, Mumtaz Ali of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian from PP 266 and DG Khan from PP 290. Pakistan Muslim League-N Ali Ahmad Khan Leghari succeeded.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission has written a letter to the National Assembly Secretariat in which the Election Commission has informed the National Assembly Secretariat about the party’s position.

The document states that 82 independent members of the National Assembly joined the Sunni Ittehad Council, 49 independent members from Punjab and 33 independent members from Khair-Pakhtunkhwa joined the Sunni Ittehad Council, no specific seat was given to the Sunni Ittehad Council.

According to the Election Commission document, the Sunni Ittehad Council is the second largest party in the National Assembly. are

Similarly, IPPK4, MWM, PKMAP, BNP have one member each, PML-Z, BAP, National Party have one member each.

It should be noted that the National Assembly Secretariat had asked the Election Commission for the latest party position.
