17 officers and personnel of Karachi Traffic Police suspended
17 officers and personnel of Karachi Traffic Police were suspended for illegal checking.
According to traffic police spokesperson, 17 officers and personnel including SO Mahmoodabad have been suspended.
According to the spokesman, Mahmoodabad traffic section officials used to check on expressway and causeway. Officials and officers were warned that the traffic police should not harass the citizens unnecessarily.
According to the spokesman, departmental action has been initiated by directing the suspended officials to report to the police line.
On the other hand, DIG Traffic has announced that challan officers will not issue challans without body cameras, traffic police officers should not harass citizens unnecessarily.
