4 convicts of MQM leader Ali Raza Abidi’s murder sentenced to life imprisonment

The Anti-Terrorism Court of Karachi sentenced 4 criminals to life imprisonment for the murder of MQM leader Ali Raza Abdi.

The Anti-Terrorism Court today pronounced the murder case of MQM leader Ali Raza Abdi as sufficient.

The court also imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on the criminals.

In its order, the court said that the other accused of Ali Raza Abidi’s murder should be produced before the court whenever they are caught.

The culprits were booked under provisions of the Terrorism Act and murder.

It should be noted that 46-year-old former Member of National Assembly and senior leader of MQM Pakistan Ali Raza Abidi was ambushed by two motorcycle-borne assailants outside his house on Khayaban-e-Gazi in Defense area of ​​Karachi on December 25, 2018. He was killed.

Ali Raza Abidi drove the car himself and reached home and was about to get out of the car when he was shot 5 times, out of which 3 bullets hit his head, 1 neck and 1 stomach.

According to the sources, Ali Raza Abidi was taken by his father Akhlaq Abidi to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

In March 2019, CTD arrested an accused named Farooq involved in the murder of Ali Raza Abidi, on the identification of which 3 more accused were arrested.
