461 feet long bread made in France, world record set

A team of 18 bakers (confectionery makers) in France set a Guinness World Record by producing a total of 461 feet of baguettes.

Chefs from the French Confederation of Bakers and Pastries gathered in Saurin, west of Paris. In order to create a loaf of bread 235 times longer than the average French baguette for the Sauren Baguettes Show.

When this baguette was produced, it broke the 2019 record of 435 foot-long baguettes set in Italy.

The baguettes were checked by Guinness World Records officials and confirmed the new record.
