Air Force won the first Inter-Department Tennis Cup

Air Force won the first Inter-Department Tennis Cup by bagging the gold medal. WAPDA won silver while Army won bronze.

The first Inter-Department Tennis Cup concluded at the Islamabad Tennis Complex. Air Force and Sui Northern won the matches played on Tuesday.

In the singles events, Yusuf Khalil and Muhammad Shoaib defeated WAPDA players. In the second match, Sui Northern defeated Navy.

President PTF Easam-ul-Haq and former President PTF Saleem Saifullah distributed the prizes.

Air Force received Rs 150,000, WAPDA Rs 100,000 while Army received Rs 50,000.

For the first time in the history of tennis, a tournament was organized for the departments. More departmental tournaments will be scheduled in the future.
